Chapter 2: Data, Information and knowledge
1.) What is the difference between data and information?
- Data is the definition of an object, event, activity through observation, experiment or exploration (and record it as text, image and symbol)
- Information is the result of data processing for the sake of beneficial usage.
2.) What is knowledge?
- Is the compound of data and information which is being processed for the use of solving certain problems.
3.) The nature of good data
- Accurate, Complete, Modern and Consistent.
4.) Efficient data storing
- Reducing paperwork, Backing up data (fast and convenient)
5.) What if we mix up data and information?
-There will be many problems. Firstly data must be a fact while information is not. Mixing them up will cause a lot of data to be unusable.

6.) The permission to access database
- In an organization there will be many people of many privilege. That organization should only permit a small group of people to gain the access to database. Or else some data could be lost or exposed.
7.) The field
- a group of data that can be either integers, decimal numbers, texts, date/time or files.
8.) The record
- a group of fields that are connected.
9.) The table
- a group of record that are alike.
